Sharing a Note with Specific Individuals

  1. Open the Google Keep app on your phone or tablet.
  2. Tap the note that you want to share.
  3. Tap the Action button (three dots in the top right corner).
  4. Tap ‘Collaborator’.
  5. Enter the name, email address, or Google Group of the person or people you want to share the note with.
  6. Tap ‘Save’.

The people you shared the note with will receive a notification and be able to view and edit the note.

Sharing a Note with a Shareable Link

  1. Open the Google Keep app on your phone or tablet.
  2. Tap the note that you want to share.
  3. Tap the Action button (three dots in the top right corner).
  4. Tap ‘Collaborator’.
  5. Tap ‘Get shareable link’.
  6. Tap ‘Copy link’.

Anyone with the link will be able to view the note, but only people who you have shared the note with will be able to edit it.

Stopping Sharing a Note

If you no longer want to share a note, follow these steps:

  1. Tap the Action button (three dots in the top right corner) while viewing the note.
  2. Tap ‘Stop sharing’.
